SUSANNAH PERRI

All of my life I have had an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me and been driven to recreate it through art. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, it was hard not to be inspired by its beautiful scenery, diverse culture and abundance of open hearts and minds. All of this has influenced my art.

In 1996, I decided to expand my creative boundaries and enrolled in the Center for Electronic Art, one of the first digital art schools in the country. I began working in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, studied graphic design and pre-press and earned a certificate in Print Design.

Much of my art is personal, but I always include a “window” through which the casual viewer can share my vision, engaging the heart as well as the mind. My work has been described as “elegant with a touch of whimsy.” One of my passions is making composites that combine my photography and fine art with Photoshop and Illustrator.

In my graphic design work, I use imagery that draws attention and invites a second look. Research and thoughtful deliberation goes behind every logo, book design and brand. No detail is overlooked.

Through continuing studies I have earned three art degrees with honors in the disciplines of Multimedia, Illustration, Graphic Design, as well as certificates in Multimedia and Print Design. I invite you to explore this sampling of my portfolio.
